Guidelines for Parents

* Create a study routine. Set a time and quiet place for your child’s work everyday
* Encourage your child to read good books and newspaper, other than textbooks at least for sometime in the day.
* Kindly pay the fees on time for smooth functioning of the school.
* Your child must carry a handkerchief and a napkin everyday to school.
* Students must not bring any gifts for teachers / Staff on any occasion.
* Promotion to next class is not automatic and that promotion is granted at the end of the Annual examination only in accordance with the school promotion policy. Changes will be made from time to time in the school policies by the School authorities / Management.
* Any complaints that the parent would like to make, should be made to the school authorities in writing and not to the class teacher.
* Guardians / relatives are not permitted to meet or take the child from the school without written permission from the parent to the school authorities. Uncles / Aunts / Grand Parents and other relatives are not permitted to attend the open day of the child.
* No elaborated birthday celebration is allowed. Child can wear colored dress.
* Kindly do not stop your vehicles in front of the school gate as it causes inconvenience to other parents and public (avoid honking)
* In case the child is ill, the school must be informed and later a medical certificate must be sent to the Principal. Your child should not be sent to school when he/she is unwell. Any Medical problem like Heart, Allergy, Blood group etc. should be intimated to the school authorities.
* If any medication to be administered to the students, the same should be intimated to the school authorities.
* Parents are requested to fill all the details on page 2 of the school diary on receipt of the diary. Latest and correct contact nos. (Mobile and Land line) are required to be entered. The diary should be sent to school daily.
* Fresh and nutritious healthy food, must be provided by the parents like chapatis, dosas, fruits, biscuits etc. Maggi is not allowed. Items like Poha, Namkeen etc. which cannot be eaten comfortably and neatly, should not be sent to school in the child’s tiffin.
* All text books and notebooks will be neatly maintained and covered with talc sheet over brown paper. The covers should be removed and changed if torn.
* Parents are requested never to be strict or harsh with their child with regards to academics. The principal must be informed if any help is required to ensure all-round development of the child.
* All assignments /activities which are sent home should be neatly filed for future reference.
* Basic hygiene and cleanliness, especially disposing litter should be taught to the child.
* The child should be taught to avoid deliberate damage to any item at home or elsewhere.
* Good manners, discipline and good behavior are the three basic qualities to be inculcated in a child.
* Students are responsible for their own belongings. The belonging should have the name of the student, written on them.
* Parents will not allowed to meet the Teacher/Child during the working hours

While it is our endeavor to provide a convenient transportation facility, we need your cooperation to ensure that all students benefit equally from this service.
* Drop and pick up points are decided by the school and drivers have been instructed not to deviate from the planned route for the overall convenience of all the students.
* Safety and security of the students is the first priority and under no circumstances will the drivers over-speed or drive at more than 40 Km / hour.
* It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that the student reaches the bus stop well in time. The bus will not wait for latecomers.
* Kindly do not give money to the driver / conductor to pay fees, purchase stationery or uniform items. The school will not take responsibility for any such transactions.
* Please instruct your child to be disciplined and obey the conductor for their own safety when seated in the bus. Any damage caused by your ward in the school bus will be compensated by the parent / guardian.
* The conductor is not responsible for the dropping your ward to your doorstep. Kindly make arrangement to receive your ward at the designated bus stop.
* While all precautions will be taken by the school authorities to ensure the safety of the students, in case of any mishap the school will not be held responsible or made liable for any compensation.
* In case if discontinuation of bus service, the school office must be informed in writing at least 2 weeks in advance, failing which bus fees for the entire quarter shall be payable.
* Any sort of unruly behavior inside the bus will amount to strict disciplinary action.
