THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION! Applicants must reside in or be within commuting distance of Greensboro, NC, and be authorized to work in the US to be considered for this position. This position requires a background in construction and renovation design.
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Architectural Interior Designer to join our team. This role combines client consultation, design expertise, project coordination, budget and scope of work development, and helping homeowners bring their renovation visions to life.
As an Architectural & Interior Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping clients bring their dream home renovations to reality. You’ll guide them from the initial engagement to finalizing the design and pricing of their renovation projects. This is an opportunity to become a trusted advisor, lead exciting projects, and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals in the construction and design industry.
Compensation Opportunities
Full Time/Part Time: Base salary per year plus a generous commission on gross sales of design agreements and construction projects. Average $80,000 - $130,000 yearly.

Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do:
Client Consultation & Sales • Conduct initial client consultations, either via Zoom or in person, to discuss project goals, budget, and design vision.
• Guide homeowners through our process, design options, materials, and pricing.
• Create and present comprehensive project proposals and budgets.
• Finalize design agreements and secure construction contracts for a smooth project transition.
Design & Project Coordination • Work closely with clients to develop remodeling plans that are both functional and visually appealing.
• Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate design possibilities and structural requirements.
• Ensure all designs meet building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Partner with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address questions throughout the project.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in residential remodeling, interior design, scope and budget building, and construction consulting.
• Solid understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and structural considerations.
• Exceptional communication and sales skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and close projects confidently.
• Proven experience creating project budgets and estimates, and guiding clients through design selections and pricing.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven with a passion for delivering quality work.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple design schedules and project timelines effectively.
• Proficient with construction management software and digital design tools.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance.
