Opportunity Overview:

POP MART is seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Agent to join our team in the Chicago area. In this role, you'll help protect our retail spaces, merchandise, and team members by monitoring store activity, investigating incidents, and promoting a safe and secure environment. As part of a global leader in trend culture and entertainment, you'll play a key role in supporting our mission to deliver joy and creativity through our iconic art toy IPs. What You Will Achieve:

  • Assist in investigating theft, safety incidents, and violations of company policy.
  • Monitor store activity and surveillance systems to detect suspicious behavior and prevent losses.
  • Support store-level audits to ensure proper inventory handling and compliance with LP procedures.
  • Report and document incidents accurately and thoroughly in coordination with LP management.
  • Help enforce safety, security, and operational policies in-store.
  • Collaborate with store teams to build loss prevention awareness and promote a safe environment.
  • Participate in quarterly inventory counts and support accurate reporting.
  • Follow established protocols during emergencies or incidents and escalate issues appropriately.

What You Will Need:

  • 3–5 years of experience in retail, security, or a related field; LP experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of loss prevention, retail operations, and safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
  • Ability to build partnerships and collaborate with key business partners
  • Good communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification (e.g., LPQ or LPC) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (e.g., seated or at a desk) for extended periods while operating a computer or other office equipment
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per shift)
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and climb ladders or step stools safely
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as unpacking boxes, tagging items, and stocking shelves
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment that may require quick movements and multitasking
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions, including stockroom and receiving areas
  • Manual dexterity required to operate standard stockroom tools (e.g., box cutters

Pay Rate:

$70,000 - $75,000/per year
