A day in the life
You start your shift with a quick scan of the CMMS to prioritize preventive maintenance. A CNC cell flags a tool-life alert; you adjust offsets and swap tooling to keep production on pace. A PLC-controlled conveyor trips intermittently—within minutes, you trace the fault to an I/O issue, update the logic, and restore flow. Later, you partner with operations to reduce unplanned downtime and end the day closing out a facilities work order on the compressed air system.
What you’ll own
- Diagnose and repair CNC equipment, PLC-driven machinery, robotics, and other logic-controlled systems to maximize uptime
- Execute and improve preventive maintenance schedules via CMMS
- Support production through tool life management, adjustments, and mechanical/electrical repairs
- Assist with facilities maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and compressed air systems
- Champion safety practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Location

What you bring
- 2+ years maintaining CNC or automation equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Associate-level technical education or equivalent hands-on training preferred
- Working knowledge of CNC programming and controls (G/M codes; Fanuc experience a plus)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Collaborative, problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced, team setting
