MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF RECENT EXPERIENCE AS A BOX TRUCK DRIVER

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Box Truck Driver to join our team in Waco, TX!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm (Occasional OT)

Requirements

Must have at least 3 years of recent experience as a Box Truck Driver
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Ability to operate a forklift
Must be mechanically inclined
Strong computer skills
Ability to use different machinery
Prior experience in roles such as Box Truck Driver, Delivery Driver, Route Driver, Local Truck Driver, Non-CDL Driver, Straight Truck Driver, or Truck Driver Class C is a big plus

Responsibilities

Dual job responsibility working in the factory and acting as the backup driver
Set up and operate machines that cut foam blocks into specific shapes and sizes for production.
Ensure the smooth operation of machinery, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and efficiency.
Verify the quality and consistency of foam materials before and during the cutting process, ensuring they meet required specifications.
Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, pressure, temperature) to accommodate different foam types or product requirements.
Identify and resolve any operational issues or malfunctions with machines to minimize downtime.
Conduct regular cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished products for defects to ensure they meet quality standards before use in production.
