Job Title: Data Warehouse Developer / Data Modeler

Location: San Antonio/Plano

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Developer / Data Modeler with a strong background in data architecture, data modeling, and building enterprise-level data warehouses and middleware interfaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing scalable data models, performing data profiling and integration, and supporting both OLTP and OLAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse and data mart solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.
• Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that align with business and technical requirements.
• Perform data profiling, analysis, and quality assessment to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Develop and optimize ETL / data integration processes to move and transform data between systems.
• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and application teams to understand data flow and interface requirements.
• Implement star schema, snowflake schema , and dimensional models for business intelligence and reporting environments.
• Support database re-engineering initiatives, optimizing performance and scalability.
• Ensure proper documentation of data models, data dictionaries, and data lineage.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in data warehouse development and data integration / middleware solutions.
• 4+ years of experience in data modeling - including relational , dimensional , conceptual , logical , and physical modeling.
• Strong knowledge of OLTP and OLAP systems, data marts , and data warehouses .
• Hands-on experience with ERD/ER diagrams , granularity , cardinality , and database design concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake, or Redshift .
• Familiarity with data profiling , data quality , and data validation techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
