Aventura at Oakwood Village is seeking an experienced and motivated
Director of Rehabilitation to lead our therapy team. The ideal candidate is a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with proven leadership ability and a passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care. As the Director of Rehab, you will oversee therapy operations, ensure high-quality clinical outcomes, support staff development, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. This is a leadership role with a strong focus on collaboration, integrity, and excellence in service delivery.
Responsibilities - Manage and oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department
- Supervise and support PT, PTA, OT, COTA, and SLP staff
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies
- Coordinate care plans and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor documentation for accuracy and timeliness
- Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications - Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the State of Ohio (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ethical practice and patient advocacy
