Pay: Starting at $50,000 depending upon experience

Type: Contract to hire
Schedule: M-F, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Job description:

Data Collection & Accuracy Checks: Gather data from internal systems and external sources, ensuring completeness and accuracy through detailed reconciliation.
Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze reports, including comparing insurer statements and premium histories to identify discrepancies.
Monthly Premium Remittance: Prepare and remit monthly premium payments to underwriters by pulling data, validating against their systems, and maintaining compliance procedures.
Ad-Hoc Research & Projects: Conduct research related to reinsurance and support special projects or end-of-month duties as needed.
Process Improvement & Documentation: Develop and refine procedures for data handling, premium processing, and compliance to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Must have around (3) years of recent experience in a similar role analyzing data
Some previous experience with accounting
Must be MS Excel proficient: Intermediate - Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, sorting, analyzing data
High school diploma or equivalent
Background check required
