Job Description

Industrial Painter

Pay: $20-25/hr + 15% shift differential for 2nd shift

Shift: Mon-Thu (3:30pm to 2am) - must be able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks (7am to 3:30pm)

Description:

  • Cannonball Recruiting is seeking an Industrial Painter to a manufacturing facility for the steel tanks and steel enclosures department.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience with Industrial Painting in a manufacturing environment
  • Read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures such as blueprints and SOP
  • Work cooperatively with others in a team environment
  • Ability to reach a tape measure
  • Ability to move or transfer products with a hoist or overhead crane
  • Ability to work independently without daily supervision
  • Work overtime as/if needed

Job Duties:

  • Commitment to a safe work environment, quality product, and teamwork
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of tools, equipment/materials, safe work habits and the proper care for tools and equipment
  • Able to mix and identify paints
  • Prepare surfaces by filling cracks, holes, joins with caulk or other fillers
  • Be quality oriented and familiar with quality processes for painting including mil thickness and measurement methods
