Job Posting: Insurance Defense Attorney OR In-Counsel

One of our top clients is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated attorney with a strong background in insurance defense to handle a diverse and challenging caseload.
Responsibilities:
* Independently manage and litigate a full range of insurance defense cases, including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, property damage, and general liability matters.
* Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
* Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
* Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
* Evaluate settlement opportunities and participate in negotiations and mediations.
* Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
* Provide timely and effective communication with clients and insurance carriers.
* Maintain meticulous and organized case files.
* Adhere to the highest ethical standards and professional responsibilities.
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
* A minimum of five (5) years of experience practicing law, with a primary focus on insurance defense litigation.
* Demonstrated success in all phases of litigation, from inception through resolution or trial.
* Strong understanding of Pennsylvania civil procedure and insurance law principles.
* Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
* Exceptional oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage a significant caseload effectively.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in legal research databases and standard office software.
