At AB Staffing, we specialize in placing healthcare providers in facilities throughout the United States. Our travel assignments range from three (3) months to one year and can be added to another assignment or area, giving you the opportunity to broaden your horizons and choose a different adventure. Corrections Counselor / Social Worker (LCSW / LPC) Details:

• Setting: Corrections.
• 13-weeks with option to extend.
• Conducting consultations to individuals experiencing a variety of emotional, mental, or behavioral disturbances upon request from a medical professional.
• Provide a wide range of psychosocial assessments and preliminary diagnostic impressions, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and/or case management services to patients.
• Provide brief evaluations to reduce the impact of symptoms and/or coordinate a referral to other appropriate service providers.

Clinical Social Workers / Corrections Counselor Requirements:

• M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or similar preferred.
• Active License in the state of Oregon as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Addictions experience and/or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC).
• 2 years of mental health experience; corrections, forensics, and/or drug and addiction counseling experience required. 
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Additional health records and certifications may be required from the facility.

Pay:

• Weekly gross on 40 hours: $2,400 - $2,520.
