Role Overview

Epicured is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to manage purchasing across multiple categories, including food ingredients, packaging materials, fulfillment supplies, and general facility inventory. This role is essential to keeping our kitchens, warehouse, and production lines stocked, organized, and operating efficiently.

This position is ideal for someone highly organized, personable, and comfortable balancing fast-moving priorities while maintaining accuracy and strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Category Procurement: Place and track orders for ingredients, packaging (containers, labels, films), shipping materials, and facility/office supplies.
• Forecasting & Inventory Planning: Maintain par levels and plan inventory needs using production schedules, historical usage, and vendor lead times.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain strong, professional communication with vendors; ensure timely responses, quotes, and service recovery.
• Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain procurement logs, vendor sheets, pricing databases, and product trackers with exceptional accuracy.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with culinary, receiving, fulfillment, and operations teams to align purchasing with production needs.
• Problem Solving: Respond quickly and thoughtfully to shortages, quality issues, substitutions, or delivery delays.
• Documentation: Keep meticulous digital records of POs, invoices, confirmations, delivery receipts, and issue logs for audit readiness.
• Cost Awareness: Support cost-control efforts by identifying savings opportunities, better sourcing options, or efficiencies in ordering.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, inventory coordination, or supply chain , ideally in foodservice, manufacturing, or fulfillment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, forecasting tools).
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented; able to manage a high volume of SKUs.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, relationship-driven approach.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through across multiple open orders and projects.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ChefMod or similar procurement platforms.
• Familiarity with receiving or inventory management systems.
• Experience in culinary operations, food manufacturing, or logistics.
