The Role

This is a critical, hands-on product operations role within a new growing team within Veeva that creates software for Biotech start-ups. You will ensure the smooth and efficient execution of our product development and release lifecycle. You will be the operational backbone for multiple applications, acting as a central hub between Product Owners, Validation, and Release Engineering.

You will manage everything from release coordination and process improvement to tool administration and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, proactive, and passionate about creating scalable processes that enable teams to build and deliver high-quality products reliably and on time.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Our Release Lifecycle : Manage and improve the end-to-end process for releases, patches, and hotfixes.
  • Be the Cross-Functional Glue : Act as the key liaison between Product, Validation, and Release Engineering to ensure seamless execution.
  • Build for the Future : Proactively identify bottlenecks and design scalable processes that will support our growth into new application areas.
  • Enable the Team : Manage our core operational tools (Jira, Vault, etc.), organize our repositories, and onboard new team members for success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Operations or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Software (especially cloud based) and typical SDLC’s.
  • A proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to new processes and tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills—you can explain complex ideas with clarity and brevity.
  • A passion for process improvement and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Technical aptitude for process automation (e.g., using APIs, simple scripting).
  • Prior experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., life sciences, GxP).
  • Direct administrative experience with tools like Jira, Monday.com , or Veeva Vault.

Compensation

  • Base pay: $75,000 - $150,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
