Quality Assurance Analyst (Advanced) - Hybrid, Columbia SC
Location: Columbia, South Carolina (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst (Advanced)to join a team supporting large-scale healthcare and public-sector initiatives. This role is hybrid, based in Columbia, SC, and offers the opportunity to work on complex, mission-driven projects that directly impact the state's healthcare programs.

What You'll Do
- Develop test plans, user acceptance testing (UAT) processes, and test cases for product management and development teams
- Design and execute manual and automated test scenarios, including regression and negative testing
- Test applications for reliability, usability, and stability
- Lead quality assessments to identify defects, security flaws, and areas for optimization
- Create and maintain QA documentation, test reports, and defect tracking systems
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to recommend solutions and improvements
- Support governance policies, best practices, and recommend enhancements to QA processes
Required Skills
- 3+ years translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios
- 3+ years building test cases into test systems
- 2+ years testing IBM Curam software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to report issues, gaps, and test results clearly to stakeholders
- Experience documenting and executing structured test activities
Preferred Skills
- 5+ years testing experience in large enterprise or e-business systems
- Knowledge of healthcare operations (Medicaid experience strongly preferred)
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
