Pay Rate: $2,541 Weekly Gross
Description:We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment at a reputable healthcare facility in the Watertown, NY area. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients throughout the labor, delivery, and recovery process, demonstrating clinical excellence and sound judgment in all aspects of maternal and neonatal care.
Key Responsibilities:Perform vaginal examinations and assist in labor monitoring.
Circulate C-sections and recover patients from spinal anesthesia .
Identify and intervene promptly in life-threatening situations .
Deliver high-quality patient care using established nursing principles.
Assess and address patient needs across clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual domains.
Promote a safe patient-handling environment , including the use of lifts and assistive devices.
Work effectively under pressure and apply creative problem-solving in complex situations.
Demonstrate leadership, prioritization, and delegation skills within the care team.
Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing .
BLS (AHA) – Required
NRP – Required
