Job Description
Acara Solutions is looking for a shipping assistant to assist our client out in Scottsdale, AZ who specializes in semiconductor manufacturing.
Here is what you will get:
Pay Rate: $19/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm
Here is what you will do:
- Receiving inbound mail and packages
- Time/date stamp all incoming/outgoing mail.
- Sorts and delivers incoming mail by department and/or employee to ensure timely distribution.
- Sorts and delivers interdepartmental mail including notices and memoranda.
- Operates mail machines including the postage meter, photocopying machine, and mail folding and inserting machine.
- Pick, pack, and process customer and internal orders using warehouse management software.
- Create shipping labels using DHL, FedEx, UPS, USPS
- Coordinate collection of freight shipments.
- Maintains a clean work environment.
- Stock supplies needed for the mailroom.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of related shipping or admin support experience.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Works independently on moderately complex and semi-routine tasks.
- Communicates effectively and professionally
- Follows safety procedures and guidelines
- Must be able to pass required Pre-Employment Screenings
- Must be willing and able to Travel between both locations
