• Daily
• Maintain Tax Exemption Certificates & Direct Pay Permits in Vertex and recalculate tax on existing Sales Orders to prevent errors.
• Maintain Material numbers in Vertex.
• Create and maintain Customer numbers in Vertex.
• Process Tax only credits to Customers.
• Troubleshoot tax issues with Sales Order entry personnel, and train as necessary.
• Communicate with Customers regarding taxability issues and proper qualifying documents.
• Research transactional taxability issues.
• Supply Andritz Tax Exemptions Certificates to Vendors, after verifying purchase usage.
• Monthly
• Reconcile tax GL accounts, (140226, 140227, 140225, 140232, 140228, and 140233).
• Download monthly data from Vertex Central and upload into Vertex Returns. Print Returns.
• File Tax returns; Post Tax return in A/P; Post online Payments against A/P postings.
• Clear all open items in tax GL Accounts.
• Research Debit balances by Jurisdiction and take corrective action.
• Sales Tax Audits
• Provide supporting journals and documents, as requested by auditors.
• Issue correcting invoices, based on audit results.
• Make procedure changes, based on audit results.
• Ongoing
• Maintain training documents and hold training sessions as needed.
• Respond to tax inquiries by Andritz Sale personnel.
• Address notices received from taxing jurisdictions.
• Perform duties as required by Role as Business Account Manager (BAM) for Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), relative to CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM).
• Accelerator and flexRFC AR
• Maintain Tables and Codes.
• Train and communicate with Andritz personnel, on both A/R and A/P transactions.

• 30% of time should be allocated to testing, per Global Team.
• Participation in KU Training.
• As a KU, will then train Users, in my designated area of expertise/responsibility.
