Job Description
As a Wills, Trusts, and Estate Attorney, you will:
- Counsel clients on estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Draft and review legal documents such as wills, trusts, advance directives, and estate plans.
- Provide guidance on asset protection, tax planning, and probate administration.
- Represent clients in probate court and related legal proceedings.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering compassionate, high-quality legal services.
- Stay current with changes in estate planning laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar (active and in good standing).
- 3+ years of experience in estate planning, trusts, and probate law.
- Strong knowledge of New York estate planning laws and tax implications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
- A client-focused approach with exceptional interpersonal skills.
