Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Product Analyst/Tester to join a dynamic systems team. This role is critical in supporting change requests ranging from rapid "quick-fix" problem tickets to major system enhancements. You will be responsible for testing applications that support vital public services, including Child Welfare, Child Care Assistance, Food Assistance, Medicaid, and Child Support.

This is more than a standard testing role; we are looking for a professional with expertise in automated test data creation, master data test plan development, and light Business Analysis to gather requirements for production issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance: Perform comprehensive manual and automated regression testing to verify products against specifications and validate feature concepts.
  • Test Data Management: Write scripts and procedures to create and maintain testing data and environments.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop master data test plans and independently schedule User Acceptance Testing (UAT) tasks and risk-based testing.
  • Business Analysis: Interpret business requirements, gather requirements for enhancements, and translate them into actionable product features.
  • Documentation: Maintain a robust study library for knowledge management; document business rules embedded in third-party utilities and data transformation processes.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in business process redesign, assessing how system changes impact role modifications and overall workflow.
  • Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and client-facing teams to ensure accurate production migrations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of experience in large enterprise environments (multi-million-dollar projects).
  • 5+ Years of experience writing master data test plans and automated regression testing scripts.
  • 5+ Years of experience with UAT scheduling and risk-based testing.
  • 5+ Years of experience extracting/documenting business rules and data transformation elements.
  • 5+ Years of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio).
  • 3+ Years of experience proposing solutions that cross multiple platforms and using third-party system utilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
