Job Title: Litigation Attorney – Real Estate & Housing Court
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid Schedule)
Practice Area: Real Estate Litigation
Experience: 3–7 years
Compensation: $165,000 – $300,000 (commensurate with experience, rates, and book of business)

A top New York real estate law firm is seeking a strong Litigation Attorney to join its team. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in both Housing Court and New York Supreme Court who can manage sophisticated real estate litigation matters with confidence. The firm offers flexibility in compensation and title depending on background, writing ability, and any portable business.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle landlord-tenant and other real estate litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Appear regularly in Housing Court and Supreme Court for conferences, hearings, and motion practice
  • Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
  • Manage discovery, depositions, negotiations, and settlement discussions
  • Advise clients on litigation strategy and provide practical solutions for complex disputes
  • Take on increasing levels of case ownership with support from senior attorneys

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–7 years of litigation experience in Housing Court and New York Supreme Court
  • Strong legal writing skills with demonstrated ability to draft dispositive motions
  • Confidence in the courtroom and ability to handle frequent appearances
  • Track record of managing multiple matters independently while staying detail-oriented
  • Portable business is welcome but not required
