Davis Cartage Co. is hiring a CDL Class B Local Driver for a day shift position. This opportunity is Monday through Friday, day shift, driving from our corporate office in Corunna, MI and return daily. Resposiblities include driving a 26' box truck with airbrakes using a lift gate, pallet jack or dock to make pick up and deliveries throughout Michigan.This position is full-time, with great benefits, no required weekend work and home every night. Straight Truck Drivers earn an average salary of 50k annually. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, as well as monthly safety bonuses and more.
Qualified Drivers must have a current CDL Class B or Class A license with airbrake endorsement and two years of verifiable driving experience. Candidates must have a clean MVR and be able to pass a DOT physical. Electronic logs, pallet jack and lift gate experience is a plus.
