We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Roofing Estimator with expertise in metal roofing systems and architectural facades . The Estimator will be responsible for accurately preparing cost estimates, bids, and proposals for a wide range of commercial projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge of roofing and façade systems, the ability to analyze project specifications and drawings, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with contractors, architects, and clients.
· Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate estimates.
· Perform detailed quantity take-offs for roofing, cladding, and façade systems.
· Develop cost estimates, proposals, and bid submissions for commercial projects.
· Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
· Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
· Identify value-engineering opportunities while ensuring compliance with project requirements.
· Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as needed.
· Work closely with project managers and sales teams to ensure a smooth handoff of awarded projects.
· Maintain current knowledge of market pricing, industry trends, and new materials/installation methods.
· Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in roofing, metal panels, or architectural facades.
· Strong knowledge of roofing systems (metal, single-ply, BUR, foam) and building envelope solutions.
· Experience with architectural metal panels, rainscreen systems, curtain walls, and façade assemblies.
· Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
· Advanced skills in estimating software, take-off programs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong negotiation, organizational, and time-management abilities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
